The San Rafael clinic in Marianao borough in the city of Havana, Cuba provides free medical care to poor children with bone disease, paralysis or scrofulosis; Crippled and deformed children, from 4 to 15 years of age. After extensive restructuring in the 1980s, the Home was reopened as a nursing home.
