Kuala Lumpur is the capital and the largest city of Malaysia. It has population of over 2.2 million people. Kuala Lumpur means “muddy confluence” in Malay — the confluence of the Gombak and Klang rivers. As seen on this postcard Kuala Lumpur is contemporary city, its modern skyline is filled with gleaming skyscrapers, with the 451m-tall Petronas Twin Towers dominating over the rest. The city is said to be in an unofficial rivalry with nearby Singapore.
