Hunza River in Pakistan is the principal river of Hunza and is formed by the confluence of the Kilik and Khunjerab nalas which are fed by glaciers. Hunza River is joined at different points by feeder streams like Chapursan, Ghujerab and Shimshal. It flows southwest and cuts across the Karakoram Range through a spectacular gorge. The river is joined by the Gilgit River and the Naltar River before it flows into the Indus River.
